Privacy: Loop Teams

Last updated 24 October 2026. Loop Teams is an app made by DoubleTake Media LLC (“we”, “us”) for the people on a LOOP team and the owners who run them.

The short version: we keep what the app needs to show you your team, and nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we keep

Your sign-in email. You sign in with an email code, Google or Apple. Your owner can see the email you signed in with.

Your name and photo. The name on the device you paired; your owner can change how it shows. A photo only if you add one. If you sign in with Google and add none, we show your Google profile picture.

Your taps. When a customer taps your card, wristband or baseplate, we count it and note where it sent them. Taps only count toward the board while your device sends to Google. We never know who the customer was: there is no name, login or tracking attached to a tap.

Your contact card, if you fill one in. If your owner turns on contact cards, you can fill in your own: name, title, phone, email, and your photo if you choose. Each customer who taps your device can save it to their phone. Turn it off any time and your device goes back to Google.

Ideas you send for games. And any prize picture you add. With your name on, your owner and team see it was you. Without it, nobody on the team sees who sent it, but we keep which device it came from. Votes are counted, never shown by name.

Reports you send. If you report a device lost, broken or not working, your owner sees it.

A notification token. Only if you turn notifications on. Team members hear when someone passes them, when a goal is hit, and a weekly recap. Owners hear when a game’s goal is reached, about new game ideas, a weekly recap and device activity.

For owners: how you sign in (email, Google or Apple), your business details, the links you add (like your menu or Instagram), the nicknames you give your locations (only you see them), and the settings you choose for your team. If you open the app from your receipt without an email, we use the email you paid with as your sign-in. We keep your phone number to text you about your order.

Who sees what

Your owner sees your name, your sign-in email, your taps, and where your device sends. Your teammates see the Leaderboard; names and photos stay blurred unless your owner turns names on. A game for picked people is seen only by those people and the owner.

What we never collect

Your location, the contacts on your phone (a contact card holds only what you type into it), your browsing, or anything about your health. The app never takes a card number: Stripe handles payment, and we keep a record of your plan and what you paid.

Who else touches it

Only the companies that make the app work, and only for that: Amazon Web Services (where the app runs), Apple (Sign in with Apple and iPhone notifications), Google (Google sign-in, review counts and Android notifications), Expo (delivers notifications), Stripe (owners’ payments), Twilio (texts to owners) and Resend (the emails with your sign-in code). We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. If we are ever legally required to hand something over, we will.

How long we keep it

We keep your history while you are on the team. Delete your account and it is deleted. Owners’ payment records are kept as long as tax law needs.

Delete your account

On a team: in the app, open your profile and tap Delete My Account. Your name, photo, sign-in and history come off your device, it goes back to your owner’s spares, and the app signs you out.

Owners: tap You, then Delete My Account. It removes your sign-in and alerts; your shop, devices, team and plan stay. To stop the plan, tap You, then Billing: it opens your Stripe billing page, where you can cancel.

Without the app: email support@westcoastloop.com from the address you sign in with and say you want your account deleted, and we will delete it within 30 days. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it. A real person reads that address.

Age

Loop Teams is for people at work. You must be at least 13 to use it as a team member, and 18 to buy it.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
